Dusmareeb: The Director General of the Horncenter Dialogue Research Organization, Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Abdi Salan Haji Aden, accompanied by members of parliament, ministers, and the administrations of Galgaduud region and the capital Dhusamareeb, paid an encouraging and supportive visit to Ubax Abdullahi Culusow, the founder of “Dhaqankaaba.”
The purpose of the visit was to support and motivate Ubax Abdullahi Culusow—a young Somali woman who has shown exceptional entrepreneurial creativity and courage by making productive use of her local resources. She successfully established a company called “Dhaqankaaba,” which produces oils and medicinal products derived from natural plants found in Somalia. Her innovative business idea has deeply resonated with the Somali community, serving as a powerful example of the strength and potential of young women entrepreneurs.
The Somali diaspora in North America also commended Dr. Ahmed Abdi Salan Haji Aden for his outstanding contributions to peacebuilding, progress, and the promotion of Somali unity. A seasoned political figure, Dr. Ahmed Abdisalan is well known for his commitment to encouraging individuals who invest in their homeland—like the inspiring young woman behind “Dhaqankaaba.”
